Mechanics courses start again!

Federation news11 October 20211 min read

News from 11 October 2021. Last updated on 14 October 2021: some information may have changed. Latest news

After more than a year away because of the Covid crisis, the CNFTE has restarted its courses on microlight engine mechanics. Again at Lectoure, home of foie gras and Peyo, we offer a week rich in mechanical learning and local produce.

Given the large number of Rotax engines used on microlights, our courses focus on this type of engine.

As a reminder, we have two levels.

  • The first covers the engine’s ancillaries (carburettors, ignition, lubrication, cooling, etc.) and the maintenance plan to be followed to keep it in good condition.
  • The second focuses more on how the engine works, with complete engine dismantling, inspection and reassembly.

As demand for training remains as high as ever, we are trying to meet it as best we can.

Registration is on the FFPLUM website. The courses are full until the end of 2021. New dates will be offered at the start of 2022! Stay tuned!
