Club life: the survey results in pictures

News from 16 June 2021. It has not been updated since it was published: some information may have changed. Latest news

In previous newsletters, a survey about club life was sent to you. Many of you responded to this initiative, which aims to meet your expectations as well as possible.

You will find the level of participation by region, age group and gender. It reflects our membership fairly well. The analyses will be refined and broken down by region so they can be passed on to your Regional Committees.

We will tackle the various projects in the order in which you ranked them.

  • It appears that organised outings is one of the themes that received the most support.
  • It is followed almost equally by your interest in bringing more young people and more women into our clubs and therefore into our activity. This reinforces the legitimacy of the “Youth” and “Women” divisions, and this demand will need to be supported.
  • The next points are tips and good deals, as well as ideas and advice to help your clubs.

I think these are the projects to tackle together in order to meet your expectations. I would just add that in nearly a third of the surveys the “proposals or suggestions” field was used. The comments are varied and I attach great importance to them. Several of you have already been contacted, which has allowed me to talk with them.

For other, more technical questions, I have forwarded their requests to the divisions or committees concerned. Not everything is done yet, but I am continuing to read and, as far as possible, I will respond as best I can.

Thank you again for taking part, and I will be sure to update you as the projects progress.

See the detailed results.
