Every month, in your newsletter and on the federation website, look out for a new feature: the club of the month. This April 2022, discover the club Rêve Aile Toi!

The microlight club Rêve Aile Toi, based at Til Châtel aerodrome (LFET) in the Côte d’Or, has been affiliated to the Federation since May 2021. The club specialises in weight-shift microlights and offers introductory flights, weight-shift pilot training and an introduction to competition.

Rêve Aile Toi also specialises in BIA and CAEA training. Agreements have been signed with local schools, notably to introduce young people to microlighting through the BIA. Our club policy is mainly aimed at young people through the BIA, with nearly 70 young people this year, 2022 (23 passed their BIA last year but could not do their flight because of Covid).

The club also felt that the step between an air experience flight and a pilot’s licence was a very big one. That is why it decided to offer a preferential rate to people who want to fly regularly without necessarily taking a pilot’s licence straight away.

This will be an opportunity to train these passengers under the federation’s new In-Flight Companion Training scheme.
