The Prissac microlight club is going through a difficult time. Last 26 August, a tornado ripped off three-quarters of the roof of the hangar at Prissac aerodrome (LF3628). Fortunately, no microlight was damaged. Since the storm, the 10 machines have been dismantled so that they can be packed together and sheltered in the part of the hangar still standing.

The rebuilding of the hangar will take between 15 and 30 months. Michel Quint, the club's president, is very worried: « How can we sustain activity at our base if our members can no longer fly? Activity has come to a complete halt. We have a future instructor leaving for training in September, but it is now impossible for him to practise or to consider training at our base ».

Support them!

An immediate, temporary solution would be to consider building an agricultural dome.

That is why an online fundraiser has been launched. If you would like to support Prissac aerodrome, follow this link: https://www.leetchi.com/fr/c/soutenir-prissac-ulm-1314536?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social_sharing
