Dunkirk, flying in Belgium, landing in France
Monday 23 July
The weather conditions are not a problem, apart from the heat, which is getting heavier and heavier. We left the little paradise of Maillen with regret. The evening forged lovely friendships and brought back fine memories. If you want a television account, there is the long RTBF report at prime time:

The Belgian excursion was a success.
The morning flight took place mainly over Belgium, due east, below 2 000 feet to avoid the zones south of Brussels. It was a typical navigation over the flat country, between big cities, quarries, factories and canals with a high urban density and the town of Dunkirk in sight. Less than a minute from arrival, we crossed back over the border for an entirely standard and trouble-free integration.
It is very hot and the crews are looking for shade and a little nap before setting off again around 4 pm for Abbeville.
