First paramotor pilots' meet in the Land of the Gascon Musketeers
In the south-west, in 2023, the first paramotor pilots' meeting will take place at CONDOM/VALENCE-SUR-BAÏSE aerodrome, in the Land of the GASCON MUSKETEERS, between the Adour and the Garonne. Condom and Valence-sur-Baïse, in the Ténarèze region, are the heart of Armagnac country, in the gourmet valleys of the Gers, dotted with Gascon villages where the good life is an everyday affair. The jewel of Cistercian art that is Flaran Abbey and the remains of the Gallo-Roman villa of Séviac stand alongside some of the “Most Beautiful Villages of France”, such as Larressingle, Fourcès and Montréal-du-Gers, the commune that is home to the huge Béon palaeontological site.
Guarded by the statue of d’Artagnan and his musketeers, Condom's Gothic cathedral foreshadows an important centre of the brandy trade on the banks of the River Baïse. Finally, the Lartigue bridge over the Baïse offers a country walk along the Via Podiensis. This is our area for flying and sightseeing, for 9 days.
Dates: from Saturday 24 June to Sunday 2 July.
Registration is through the paravroum.com website. The event is already full, so you can only join the waiting list. The maximum number of registered pilots per day is limited to 50.
For those who want a long flight, we can even organise a navigation exercise to the Pic du Midi de Bigorre, with one or two intermediate refuelling stops.
The whole team looks forward to welcoming you.
