First Federal Women's Seminar
The FFPLUM is revisiting its federal project to increase women’s participation in flying and is offering dedicated working time in a seminar. Increasing women’s participation in microlight flying is a priority and major strand of the federal development policy, in order to reach new audiences, promote gender mix and uphold the values of fairness.
This seminar will be an important step in building a shared vision between those involved in the microlight world and the current situation of women in sport. It will be a time for exchange and building together among participants, speakers and business leaders, to broaden our view of the place of women in microlighting and in sport more generally.
The approach of a first seminar will bring out the following 5 points:
-
Structured: current situation, challenges, obstacles, proposed actions and evaluation criteria.
-
Co-created: thematic working group, interaction with regional committees and clubs, partners who can be mobilised.
-
Useful: a tool adapted locally at regional level and in clubs, with operational programmes.
-
Cross-cutting: drawing up a suitable plan involving all stakeholders at national level and at every territorial level.
-
Multi-year: up to 2025.

The seminar will be held on Saturday 1 April 2023 in Chateauroux.
