See you on 7 and 8 September 2019 at Melun-Villaroche aerodrome
The PARIS-VILLAROCHE AIR LEGEND takes place every year on the second weekend of September at Melun-Villaroche aerodrome in Seine-et-Marne (77). It is one of the biggest air shows in Europe, with more than 100 aircraft on show!
This exceptional show is a chance to see legendary aircraft fly that are rarely, if ever, seen in France: MIG 15, Saab J29, Curtiss P-40, Corsair, Skyraider, Yak-3, several Spitfires, several Mustangs… as well as Rafales, the famous Patrouille de France, and many other exceptional aircraft.
PARIS-VILLAROCHE AIR LEGEND also offers an exhibitors' village with many stalls and activities for the whole family. Young and old alike can, for example, try out the flight simulators. Several historical re-enactments, such as USAAF, RAF and Luftwaffe camps, as well as the vocal group "Satin Dolls Sisters", will transport the public into the atmosphere of the air shows of yesteryear.
A site steeped in history
The event will take place at the legendary Melun-Villaroche aerodrome, 40 km south-east of Paris. This vast airfield is a former flight-test base where Dassault Aviation, among others, tested its aircraft. Today Melun-Villaroche remains an important aviation centre, open to public air traffic since October 2014. Vintage, recreational and professional aviation rub shoulders here.
