La Flèche, a transition stage

The welcome at Saint-André de l’Eure was masterfully prepared with the club team and the Normandy Regional Committee. Saint-André, in the Paris region, is impressive in the number of machines. Many guests took this opportunity to greet us on the Tour. Fatigue is making itself felt and it is necessary to pass on firm messages about flight safety. We are clearly in a heatwave and we must look after our bodies and how we use the machines.
Two journalists from the magazine "Femme actuelle" joined us for the day's half-stage and it was an opportunity to bring together all the women present on the Tour (in the air or on the ground). Let us remember: the Federation offers the first licence to women from October! This is a unique action in the world of aeronautical federations. We must open our activity to the general public: it offers a diversity and accessibility that allow everyone to live the dream of flight.
The flight itself consisted of returning to La Flèche airfield on a navigation leg that, it must be admitted, was relatively... flat. We look for shade, rest and lunch, and will soon resume flying to escape a thunderstorm trend that is on the way.
