38th show and microlight meeting

The federation will of course be present at the heart of the show (stand P08) to answer your questions with its main federal officers.

Forums made up of talks and knowledge sharing will take place on Saturday afternoon, including several talks on current topics - notably the very recent change in European regulations on microlight weights - given by federal officers and experts (see the talk schedule below).

The federation's Young Pilots Committee, which is behind many projects, will also be strongly represented (with about fifteen young people present) to discuss and debate the actions it is carrying out to introduce young people to microlighting and promote it among them.

Many videos will be shown on the stand: the educational Safety series on microlighting, the Mechanics tutorials, a taste of the atmosphere of the 2018 Microlight Tour, and sport with reports on the French microlight Championships and the Paramotor World Championships in Thailand.

The CNFTE technicians will present the mechanics courses and will be available to answer your technical questions.

Talk schedule:

from 3 pm to 16:

  • Introduction by Sébastien Perrot, President of the French Microlight Federation
  • Regulatory changes: microlight mass / annex 1 / 500 kg exemption (opt-out) by Louis Collardeau, First Vice-President in charge of international relations and regulation, with Antoine Toulemont (European Cooperation and Safety/Airworthiness Regulation) and Alain Vella (deputy head of the MALGH - DGAC)

from 4 pm to 17:

  • Flight safety by Jean-Christophe Gibert, head of the "Flight Safety" Committee, and Alain Jamet of the DGAC

You will also find all the major players in microlighting: aircraft manufacturers, institutional partners, clubs and schools > see the list of exhibitors

Saturday will be devoted mainly to flying displays, with commentary from the official announcer or the exhibitor. Sunday will be reserved for microlight test flights. > Download the Official Programme
