The world's biggest air sports festival starts this Thursday 20 September 2018 in the heart of the French Alps!
The Coupe Icare is the airborne party of the new season that you must not miss under any circumstances!
For four days, the villages of Saint-Hilaire-du-Touvet, at 1000 metres above sea level on the Petites Roches plateau in the Chartreuse, and Lumbin, 700 metres lower in the heart of the Grésivaudan valley, host the world's largest gathering of paraglider, hang-glider, paramotor, hot-air balloon and model-aircraft pilots.
More than 10 000 of them, from all corners of the globe, come to discover the manufacturers' new products and give the 90 000 spectators present breathtaking demonstrations.
Alongside the air displays, the Coupe Icare also offers an international film festival, the world's largest trade show for paragliding and paramotoring, children's areas and street performances. The free-flight planet invites you to discover its flying men and women and their aircraft.
