Covid-19 and lockdown
News from 10 April 2020. Last updated on 22 May 2020: some information may have changed. Latest news

A week ago we published a Covid 19 Memo that clearly sets out the extremely precise regulatory framework of permitted activities. We remind you that respecting the general interest requires us to apply lockdown with the utmost firmness. Fine weather, individual interests and bad examples set by some or others must not undermine the essential principles guiding our country in such tragic times. We would all be losers.
As for engines, there is no point in running them on the ground at the moment. The federation only asked for what the FFA had obtained a week earlier, without our being informed. It is therefore for the sake of administrative consistency and equal treatment that the certificate mentions this technical aspect.
As for flights, the system put in place has worked very well. The request must be detailed and precise. The federation systematically phones before giving an opinion. It goes without saying that a circuit in the club aircraft or one's own aircraft does not fall within the scope provided for. Everything rests on the responsibility of club presidents and company managers.
We must be patient and responsible while staying at home, in line with national guidelines.
