The AFFP encourages young women pilots!

The Association Française des Femmes Pilotes (AFFP, French Women Pilots' Association) encourages young women under 25 who want to fly!
Since 2014, the association has awarded "sports grants" of between €500 and €1000 to motivated young women who take part in an air activity: aeroplane, microlight, glider, powered flight, free flight, parachuting…
Whatever the air activity, the AFFP aims to make air sports more accessible to women and increase their numbers in the 9 federations, as well as in drone flying.
Despite the prospect of a post-Covid economic crisis, the AFFP considers it important to keep these grants, which will be all the more useful for those who are affected. And because the future is being prepared now: aviation will need young people tomorrow.
NB: The rules and application forms for these 2020 grants will be available on our website: www.femmes-pilotes.com
From mid-June, and the grants will be presented at our 10th Women of the Air Gathering, which will take place on the weekend of 12-13 September at Abbeville aerodrome (we hope!).
