REX is operational again
News from 24 September 2020. It has not been updated since it was published: some information may have changed. Latest news

After several weeks' interruption, the FFPLUM REX (safety report) is up and running again. The site had to be managed in-house, as the previous provider was not responding to our requests. Julien Tourbez, head of the federation's IT Division, developed the new REX interface with his partners. It can now be reached directly by clicking here.
What is REX?
REX is a tool based on voluntary, anonymous reporting, designed to gather accounts from users describing situations and events linked to the use of an aircraft.
By detecting weaknesses and failures, or by highlighting positive facts, REX helps improve flight safety.
How to use it
A REX report remains public and anonymous. The person submitting it may, however, leave their contact details at the end of the form so that they can be contacted again, but this is optional. Once the report has been submitted, it is moderated: it is reviewed and validated before being published on the site.
Moderation
The FFPLUM moderators are: Michel Marti, the flight safety officers (CSV) for Occitanie and Normandy, Laurent Kerbrat, and Jean-Christophe Gibert. Once a report has been validated, the REX account is visible on the federation site. Internet users can read all the REX reports on our site.
Please do share your experiences with us, and in doing so help improve flight safety.
