Extension of aeronautical licences and ratings

Contrary to some information published at the end of the week, there is no official DGAC position on extending licences and ratings in general aviation. The Secretary of State for Transport replied by letter on 26 March for professional aviation (letter attached, click here), proposing a period of four months, renewable. The federation received it for information through the CNFAS. The DGAC's position should be known next week, most likely following the professional aviation model.
