Instructor validation postponed

Flash News8 May 20201 min read

News from 8 May 2020. Last updated on 29 May 2020: some information may have changed. Latest news

As we announced in last week's federation communication, the DGAC has published, at the federation's request and as part of a concerted CNFAS action, the decision postponing instructor validity periods in the context of the covid-19 health crisis:

The validity period of an instructor qualification associated with a microlight pilot licence is extended from the original expiry date until 31 December 2020.

Only holders of a microlight pilot instructor qualification that was valid on 16 March 2020 benefit from the waiver provided for in this article.

For trainee instructors, the 18-month validity period that starts on the date of entry into training is extended by 8 months.

The text of the decision is attached.
