Federation life: the Regional Committees steering group
News from 8 April 2020. Last updated on 9 May 2020: some information may have changed. Latest news

Since our Grand Committee of 23 and 24 November 2019, the Regional Committees Steering Group (GPCR) has met several times by videoconference, as the virus requires. It brings together presidents of regional committees, the National Technical Adviser (CTN) and members of the Executive Board.
This working group helps run our network of regional committees by taking up certain subjects that concern us. It supports and steers the projects that contribute, in the regions, to rolling out the Federal Development Plan.
The first mission entrusted to the GPCR is to implement the Federal Sports Plan, part of the Development Plan, which was designed in liaison with the Agence Nationale du Sport (ANS).
The GPCR is a forum for exchange that works, produces and proposes.
The CNDS 2020 campaign
As part of the development of sports practice, the FFPLUM and the Agence Nationale du Sport (ANS) are providing funding to support the development of physical and sporting activities for everyone.
The FFPLUM, a stakeholder in this scheme, implements its policy through a sports project designed to support the development of microlight activities for members through affiliated clubs and regional committees.
In this context, the federation will begin processing applications for funding from the former territorial share of the CNDS, now managed by the Agence Nationale du Sport. To do so, it will mobilise its resources, with the support of the ANS, to respond to applicants who submit a project funding application.
Regional committees at the heart of the scheme.
The federation's regional bodies (CRULM) will also keep their role as network leaders and support providers.
For this first edition, thanks to their detailed knowledge of the local context and issues, the regional committees will have a role in:
- Circulating information about this ANS and FFPLUM campaign,
- Encouraging applications,
- Advising on how to put applications together,
- Steering applicants towards actions linked to the themes selected,
- Giving an opinion on the applications submitted,
- Helping to assess how the actions are carried out.
The allocation of funds processed by the FFPLUM therefore covers, for 2020, the following themes supported by the Agence nationale du Sport:
- Applications must meet general-interest criteria that guarantee the practice of sport for all audiences, at every stage of life and in every area, in particular with the aim of increasing the federation's membership.
- Priority will be given to actions aimed at correcting social and territorial inequalities in access to sports activities and facilities.
Before starting the procedure, clubs and departmental committees should contact their Regional Committee. This aid is not intended for affiliated commercial clubs and schools (OBL).
