An'Air Paramoteur renews its paramotor meetings!

An'Air Paramoteur renews its paramotor meetings!

Federation news28 January 20212 min read

News item of 28 January 2021. Last updated on 29 January 2021: some information may have changed. Latest news

In 2020, despite all the restrictions on gatherings, we organised two paramotor pilots' meetings at the base of the AN'AIR microlight and model aircraft club, located in the commune of Anères in the Hautes-Pyrénées, right at the foot of the mountains.

They brought together nearly 150 pilots from all over France and even from Belgium. Over both periods, everything went very well, in a true spirit of friendliness, exchange and sharing, and in complete safety. We are pleased to announce that in 2021 we are organising two meetings again.

Spring meeting:

• from Saturday 1st May to Sunday 9 May.

Summer meeting:

• from Saturday 21 August to Sunday 29 August.

The club will provide power sockets and its clubhouse, heated in spring, equipped with a kitchen, a fridge, a freezer, two large tables, toilets and a shower, a computer and Wi-Fi. You will also have hangars to store your aircraft and a car park. For meals, we will offer a lunchtime menu; in the evening, everyone will fend for themselves. There are shops in the villages near the airfield.

From Anères, you can go walking, cycling, mountain hiking, and visit caves, chasms, villages and castles. I will give a list of all the activities to registered pilots.

As in previous editions, there will be no registration fee. A box will be provided for pilots and everyone can slip in a banknote if they wish. This money will be given to the club to cover their water, electricity and heating costs.

We will do our best to welcome you and to show you our Pyrenean mountains and our Bigorre hospitality.
