On 23 July 2020, at Quiberon aerodrome, the FFPLUM signed an agreement with the French Navy to carry out initiatives for young people. The 1st Air Sea Camp (camp air mer) is part of this agreement, for 12 young people (aged 18 to 25) from our Federation, from 5 to 9 July 2021.
23 July 2020 had been a fine day, when, through Sébastien Perrot and Captain David Samson, a new agreement was signed between the FFPLUM and the French Navy. That day, around 100 introductory flights were offered to the EPIDE (employment integration establishment) and to people selected by the town of Quiberon who were on the front line during Covid.

The Navy and the Federation have worked on the idea of a week combining sea and air projects: the Air Sea Camp. The camp will run from 5 to 9 July 2021 at the École Navale and at the Lanvéoc-Poulmic Naval Air Base on the Brest roadstead. The programme will be busy and highly instructive for our selected young people:
- A sailing trip and a night at sea, with the navigator Alain Gabbay, winner of many legendary races. He is also a gyroplane and three-axis instructor and president of the Club Morbihan ULM based at Quiberon.
- Talks on the various Navy careers, meetings with officer cadets and military personnel, and their accounts of their experience.
- Flight and navigation simulator, flight in an SR20 and in Navy Caïman helicopters.
- Microlight flights.

This week will be rich in emotion and experience. A spirit of togetherness will be the common thread throughout your stay.
Please therefore send your application, handwritten letter and CV to the Federation or by email to ffplum@ffplum.org no later than 30 May 2021.
