The microlight world in particular, and aviation in general, is in mourning. Jean-Pierre Cursolle, a tireless organiser and passionate instructor, has just left us, taken by illness.

Flying was essential to him. He was an aviator in the sense of our great elders, and he leaves us but will remain in our memories as a likeable man who was attentive to others.

At this painful time, on behalf of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Microlight Committee and in my own name, we offer his family and friends our sincerest condolences.

To you, Jean-Pierre. Farewell, my friend.

President of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Microlight Committee
