MONDIAL DE L'ULM 2022: 200% MICROLIGHT!

The first edition of the Mondial ULM, organised by the federation in partnership with the Loir-et-Cher Department and Blois-Le Breuil aerodrome, was a success. The objectives we had set ourselves were achieved.
- Bringing together the full range of microlights
- Show new developments and the innovative strength of microlighting
- Increase the number of exhibitors and extend the Mondial to 3 days
- Offering entertainment throughout the days and in the evenings
- Making the Mondial the world's leading gathering place for microlight enthusiasts, in partnership with the Loir-et-Cher area
Based on previous editions, we had expected 3 000 visitors; we welcomed 5 500, with more than 120 exhibitors and a great deal of positive feedback. Of course, we have many things to improve for the next edition, first of all:
- Make it easier for exhibitors to arrive and fly
- Better integration of paramotor flights, for both professionals and private pilots
- More entertainment, especially on the Sunday
- More foreign exhibitors and simple machines
In the very particular context of these months weighed down by Covid, the MULM was a breath of fresh air and a fine showcase for our passion. I particularly thank all the volunteers who ran this first edition so wonderfully. I also thank our partners and the exhibitors who put their trust in us. I would also like to acknowledge the commitment, attentiveness and support of Damien Cazé, Director General of Civil Aviation and patron of this first edition.
The 2021 edition was 100% microlight; the 2022 edition will be 200% microlight! It will take place on 2, 3 and 4 September 2022. The booking site will be up on 1st December 2021.
