Full throttle with ULM Info!

Federation news12 May 20211 min read

News from 12 May 2021. It has not been updated since it was published: some information may have changed. Latest news

Following my election to the federation's Board of Directors, Sébastien Perrot and my colleagues entrusted me with responsibility for ULM INFO as editor-in-chief. It is a heavy task to take over from my predecessors Gabriel Gavard and Jérôme Bonnard, whom I thank in passing for the quality of the latest issues.

ULM INFO is the magazine that all pilots, student pilots, instructors and club or school managers eagerly await each quarter.

I can already tell you that the publication schedule will change to fit events more closely: January with all the insurance news, April to announce the whole calendar of sporting events, July as the summer issue and, above all, October, which will give plenty of space to the Blois show and to the following year’s licences & insurance.

You will receive this issue no. 115, dated April 2021, sometime next week, because given the current situation the postal service is running with reduced staff across France, which explains the delay.

Your ULM Info magazine 115 will soon be with you

You will discover a new cover with this issue 115, and I want to enrich ULM INFO with new sections. I am listening to any suggestions you have.

Through the Regional Committees, we will have a “regional ULM INFO correspondent” to report news from the field about club life, events and gatherings. In short, my wish, and that of the Board of Directors, is to make your Federation’s magazine together.

We will probably meet at airfields or at the Blois show. Please do come and meet me to talk about a subject that fascinates us all: microlighting.

I will finish by telling you that, from now on, the newsletter becomes monthly, sent by email in the middle of the month, except for a special flash if the news requires it.
