The Somme département has set up a selection of projects as part of a participatory budget. The Communauté de Communes des Villes Sœurs (an area of 28 communes) has put forward a project so that young people can become microlight pilots.
The participatory budget
For a few days now, residents of the Somme have been invited by the département to vote between different projects. Unlike other local initiatives, it is up to residents to choose which proposals they want to see happen. 3 will be chosen.
Among the initiatives residents are asked to vote on is becoming a microlight pilot. This project, in partnership between the Communauté de Communes des Villes Sœurs, which maintains the aerodrome, and the Aéro-club Eu Tréport Mers (Microlight Club), will let young people take 20 hours of microlight flight training.
Voting is open only to residents of the Somme aged 10 and over, until 5 February 2021! If you are concerned and want this project to succeed, do not hesitate to vote by clicking on the following link (project no. 100): https://www.somme.fr/budget-participatif/
