News from 12 September 2022. Last updated on 16 September 2022: some information may have changed. Latest news

Summer will soon be over, but our clubs and regional committees are still offering events near you. A closer look at 3 of them:

Ailes et Volcans - Cervolix (30 September, 1st and 2 October)

Cervolix is an event bringing together every kind of flying machine, from kites to the Alpha Jets of the Patrouille de France, including our paramotor pilots of the Collectif France. It will take place at Issoire-Le Broc aerodrome from 30 September to 2 October 2022.

Friday morning, 30 September, will be devoted to the aeronautical careers forum and to aeroplane, glider and microlight flights offered by the French Air Force to BIA 2022 students. The afternoon will be given over to air show rehearsals. From 5 pm until 10 pm: the start of a night event with a few flights and aerial displays.

Part of the programme for Saturday and Sunday from 11.30 am to 5.30 pm: Patrouille de France, PIONEER Patrol, Italy, Chinook CH-47, Royal Air Force, Red Devils, Paramotor Patrol (with members of the Collectif France) aerobatic glider, etc… and plenty of ground activities with the French Air Force, kites and, of course, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Regional Committee stand with a simulator and promotional material.

ELA in the Air

For the 1st time in Meurthe-et-Moselle (54), “ELA IN THE AIR” is being organised this year with the help of ULM Chambley and the French Microlight Federation (FFPLUM). The aim is to give children with leukodystrophies, and therefore severe disabilities, a taste of flying. Their parents and siblings will be welcomed at Chambley Aerodrome on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 October for a respite weekend, rare moments that let them forget the illness. ELA is the European Association against Leukodystrophies, founded by Guy Alba and Pascal Prin, which supports the families of sick children thanks to the involvement of schools, well-known sponsors and motivated families (www.asso-ela.com)

PACA Women’s Gathering (8-9 October 2022)

The FFPLUM PACA Regional Committee, with the help of enthusiasts and volunteers, is organising the 1st regional gathering of women microlight pilots in the PACA region on 8 and 9 October 2022.

You will be welcomed at the Saint Martin de Castillon microlight strip (LF8421) for this event.

Two days of meetings, exchanges, flights, camaraderie between women pilots and workshops dedicated to our sport. We look forward to seeing many of you: champions, experienced pilots, beginners or novices, come and share your passion with us.
