A special weekend in defence of aeronautical activities in the Boulonnais will take place on 7 and 8 May at Le Portel, Alprech site, chemin de Ningles 62224 Equihen plage.

For some years now, many of you have come to visit us at this one-of-a-kind aerodrome (opened in 1939), and to enjoy its lovely fine-sand beach just below. This idyllic spot is extraordinary for aviation enthusiasts like us, but it is also of interest to property developers, who are very keen on the Alprech area.
This first meeting in the Boulonnais is organised to safeguard the aeronautical activities that are threatened by a plan to build a housing development of more than 300 homes almost at the runway threshold.
Microlights, aeroplanes and model aircraft will all be represented. A static display will be held in the Opale’R ULM building. Opale’R ULM regularly organises BIA days and days introducing aeronautical careers.

We need you. A substantial number of pilots and exhibitors are expected. We can refuel machines with SP 95 and 98.
We thank you in advance for supporting us and spreading this information around you. In doing so, we will be supporting aeronautical activity in general, as well as the residents’ committee of the Alprech Massenet Ravel site preservation association.
Gaëtan RUET
President of Opale R ULM
