What is the Pass'Sport?
The Pass'Sport is a flat-rate aid (sports allowance) paid by the State towards the cost of a sports club licence for a young person aged 6 to 17 who receives the back-to-school allowance or the disabled child education allowance. The Pass'Sport is now open to people aged 16 to 30 (as of 30 June 2021) who received the disabled adult allowance in 2021. It reduces the cost of the licence or membership that you have to pay when you sign up.
This aid can be combined with all other financial aid already in place.
Who is the Pass'Sport for?
For children from 6 to 18 (17 completed as of 31/06/2021) who meet one of the following three criteria:
- Young people aged 6 to 18 receiving the Back-to-School Allowance in 2021,
- Young people aged 6 to 18 receiving the Disabled Child Education Allowance (AEEH),
- Young people aged 16 to 18 receiving the Disabled Adults Allowance (AAH).
- Families with eligible children will receive a letter this summer, via the CAF, from the Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sport informing them of this scheme and their eligibility for it.
It also applies to people aged 16 to 30 (as of 30 June 2021) who received the disabled adult allowance in 2021.
How does the Pass'Sport work for the young person?
The young person goes to the sports club of their choice until the end of February 2022, bringing the letter they received. This letter was sent in August 2021 to eligible families. If you did not receive it or are among the new beneficiaries of this aid, you simply need to download the payment certificate for one of the allowances (ARS, AAH, AEEH, AAH) and present it to the sports club of your choice. On presentation of this letter, the club gives a reduction of 50 € on the cost of an introductory flight, club membership and/or taking out a licence, except for first-time members (free).
How does the Pass'Sport work for the club?
1. TO BE LISTED
All associations affiliated to an approved sports federation, and therefore all clubs affiliated to the FFPLUM, are automatically partners in the scheme. Clubs do not need to take any particular steps.
2. TO BE REIMBURSED
To submit their reimbursement claim, clubs must have an account on “Le Compte Association” (www. lecompteasso.associations.gouv.fr).
- For associations that already have an account, there are no further steps to take
- For associations that do not yet have an account, one must be created by following the tutorial “I create my ASSO account”
From September, and preferably as registrations come in, the club can enter on the ASSO account the reimbursement claims for the young people it welcomes with a Pass’Sport, after systematically checking their eligibility through:
- The young person producing the Ministry of Sport letter (original)
- Verification of the young person's identity.
Normally, no supporting documents need to be submitted, but the association must keep the Ministry letter (original) for each young person welcomed so that checks can be carried out afterwards by the DRAJES. Otherwise, it may be asked to repay the sums paid.
The club will be reimbursed by a Third-Party Payer from September and in several waves, normally by the CDOS of its département or by another dedicated body (CROS or DRAJES).
