Find us at the Coupe Icare 2022

As every year, the French Microlight Federation will be at the Coupe Icare, which will take place from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 September 2022. Find us in the Rogallo Pavilion (the one closest to the food area) in aisle C, on stand no. 4!

After two years in which the Coupe Icare was put on hold, this new edition returns to its usual format. So, in the commune of Lumbin, the AURA Regional Committee will resume its activities as in 2019: promoting microlighting with the two simulators under the Regional Committee’s marquees. The temporary strip will be back in service with flying demonstrations (normally with the arrival of an E SWAN 120 electric-powered three-axis microlight, Pipistrel’s VELLIS ELECTRO electric aircraft, the SE5 retro biplane microlight flown by Thomas JORON, and the Volandi microlight, a machine specially designed for disabled flying) and, of course, air experience flights in weight-shift, three-axis and gyroplane microlights.

After this pause due to the pandemic, we hope for a large crowd. The local club ISER'ULM has been helping us for several years and is very heavily involved in organising this event.
