The FFPLUM held its annual regional committees seminar on 26 and 27 November 2022. No fewer than thirty participants (the Federal Executive Board and the presidents, each accompanied by a member of their CRULM) met near the federal head office, in a suitable working environment, to take part in various talks on the many current topics in our activity. Of note was the participation by video conference of the CRULMs of Guyane and La Réunion.
In a rich and fast-paced 2-day programme, after the presentation of the CRULMs’ progress, the main themes were covered by the heads of the divisions and the speakers. As true relays and regional leaders for our clubs and members, the presidents of the regional committees confirmed their commitment and mission in implementing federal policy, with fine successes such as the rollout of the ExamULM centres, regional competitions, handivol activities, initiatives for young people and women, rallies, flight safety and mechanics events, and their presence at the MULM.
Several resolutions will be adopted for 2023 in line with the federal project, notably the proposed increase in federal support to continue developing our microlight activities.
The GPCR (regional committees steering group) will meet in the coming weeks to renew its membership and propose the 2023 calendar.
