In these few lines, I wanted to tell you about my adventure, which took place 980 km from our microlight base at Le Portel LF6251.

To help us develop our organisation, financial assistance allowed me to take my weight-shift instructor qualification at Air flash Amiens, and also to spend a whole week at the prestigious Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile at Muret near Toulouse (ENAC).

From 12 to 16 December 2022, thanks to a letter of motivation sent to the Federation, I was able, like 5 of my colleagues, to benefit from the experience of these trainers. It is a wonderful team that guided us during the week. We were able to see the impressive fleet of aircraft and the flight simulator workshop, and we also talked with air traffic controllers.

A course based on human factors, "Teaching and Learning", allowed me to learn and understand the needs of our future pilots. As every student is different, this essential foundation is vital in order to provide training content and learning suited to the learner.

Passing on the wonderful passion of learning to fly is not without risk! That is why we should be far more aware of this teaching aspect. I am convinced that working together on this subject would avoid many surprises and save us time.
