The 11th gyroplane and rotary-wing microlight gathering took place in mild weather at Le Tréport aerodrome this Sunday 25 June 2023.
Some forty microlights made the trip: no fewer than 30 gyroplanes, 3 class 6 helicopters, but also 11 three-axis microlights and 8 touring aircraft. The pilots were very well received, with radio assistance on arrival, marshallers on the ground and catering available on site.
In an atmosphere of conversation and reunion, the pilots came together to share their experiences and recall their shared memories.
They were also able to enjoy the beautiful scenery around the airfield, such as the town of Le Tréport, the chalk cliffs typical of the region and the Baie de Somme, a few minutes' flight north of the airfield.
The general public was not forgotten: they could discover microlighting through introductory flights on site. Zoé, a pilot and instructor at the club, shared her passion through numerous gyroplane flights throughout the day.
