The 2018 Tour ULM will be full of colour!
After two editions in the south of France, this year the north takes centre stage.
We will leave from Mâcon, on the banks of the Saône, and head north to Belgium, where the local microlight pilots are eagerly waiting for us. Along the way you will enjoy the foothills of the Vosges, and as we arrive in Lorraine, near Verdun, you may spare a thought for the glorious aviators of the First World War.
After visiting the town of Namur in a relaxed half-day, we will cross Belgium from end to end, as far as Koksijde, and the picnic at Dunkirk will be most welcome.
A change of scenery follows, with the shores of the Channel, Cap Gris-Nez and our stopover at Abbeville, where we will stay for the rest day.
We can then enjoy the magnificent Baie de Somme and the incomparable hospitality of the people of the North. The next leg will be largely over the sea, before we begin the second part of the circuit.
The leg from Saint-André de l’Eure to Amboise will let us fly over French history with its magnificent Loire châteaux. The Cher will guide us at the start of the last leg to Mâcon. The Lurcy motor racing
circuit will welcome us for the intermediate stop, take note, enthusiasts!..
Once again this year, we have wanted to offer you a very varied, instructive tour, full of colour and warm welcomes.
The Tour ULM is the showcase of our activity, and an opportunity to present microlighting in all its diversity.
With the support team and the technical resources made available to us by the DGAC, it is organised under optimum safety conditions.
Together with the whole organising team and all the volunteers, we look forward to seeing you from 21 July to 27 July 2018. (Welcome on 20 July).
Until then, look after your aircraft, stay in shape and enjoy some fine flights.

Pierre-Henri Lopez - Tour Commissioner General
