A grant has been awarded by the EU for replacing radios.

Owners of 8.33 kHz radio equipment, bought and installed between 13 March 2018 and 31 December 2020 to replace a 25 kHz radio, can receive assistance of up to a maximum of 20% of the equipment and installation cost.

This grant is distributed by the DGAC. To benefit from it, you must log in at https://subventions-833.dta.aviation-civile.gouv.fr

This site gives access to a "GUIDE FOR APPLICANTS FOR THE '8,33 KHZ' GRANT: ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS AND PAYMENT", which sets out the technical and administrative application procedures.

The grant for replacing 25 kHz radios with 8.33 radios is run by the Directorate of Air Transport. FFPLUM is not kept informed of the progress of applications, which are processed in chronological order of their registration date on the site set up for this purpose.

Payments began at the end of September; there is therefore a wait relative to the filing of applications, which began in March.

For details of their application, applicants who wish to may contact the functional mailbox dta-833-bf@aviation-civile.gouv.fr
