This article is for everyone who held a licence in 2018 but has not yet renewed it for 2019.

2020 Licence, why join?
Being a member allows us to represent you better. It also gives the Federation more strength to promote microlighting and to put in place all the actions that improve flight safety and training, and to negotiate the best-suited, most competitive insurance products that, above all, best meet your needs.
Licence sign-up for the 2020 season starts in October! So that all our information is correct, remember to check all your contact details in your personal area. These are very important to the Federation: they allow us to contact you in case of a licence or insurance problem, or to send you post and ULM Info!
The new licence prices voted at the 2019 General Assembly are:
€77,10 for those aged 25 and over,
€49,61 for those under 25.
As in 2019, the first licence is free for young people under 25 and for all women. Latecomers who held a licence in 2018 will be able to take their 2020 licence from October. The last 3 months of the year will be free for both the licence and the insurance.
No medical certificate is required when renewing a licence, even late (2018/2019); for these renewals, only the medical questionnaire has to be completed. This document is personal and confidential and is automatically destroyed at the end of the licence process. None of the information it contains is kept.
With the licence, you benefit from legal protection and are always kept informed, through all our channels, of developments in our activity. The many federal grants are there to support competitive flying and to introduce microlighting to a wider public.
Being a member means being part of our large family, and by being there you also contribute to the richness of the French microlight movement.
