Postponement of the French Microlight Federation General Assembly 2020
News from 13 March 2020. It has not been updated since it was published: some information may have changed. Latest news
The exceptional circumstances of the Covid-19 crisis require us, and allow us - legally - to postpone the Federation's General Assembly, which was planned for Saturday 28 March at the DGAC premises. We plan to hold it in September and will let you know as soon as possible, depending on how the pandemic develops, of the new arrangements for holding it.
The activity report and the financial report will be published on 28 March, together with all the documents that were to support this non-elective General Assembly.
We must relay and take into account, in the life of our clubs and affiliated companies, the barrier measures and hygiene rules that are crucial to containing the virus while keeping our activities going as normally as possible.
Our "outdoor" activity is less affected than more enclosed sports or those geared towards large public events with major financial stakes. The aviation sector, however, is directly and dramatically hit. This will have knock-on effects on all parts of aeronautics.
We must stay supportive and united. It is everyone's public-spiritedness and sense of responsibility that will let us return to a normal social life as soon as possible.
Happy flying to you all.
Sébastien Perrot
President of the French Microlight Federation
