To keep their qualifications, instructors must attend a two-day course every three years. It provides important information on regulations, the legal aspects of providing training, and accident statistics, using real case studies.
It then covers human factors, threat and error management (TEM) and teaching methods. Finally, the course provides information on aircraft mechanics and maintenance.
