The Est'Capades rally is back in 2022. The central logistical organisation (daily departures and arrivals) will again be at the Chambley club this year.
The Grand Est Regional Committee, in partnership with the Chambley Microlight Club, is organising the second edition of the Est'Capades Ultra légères, which will take place from 26 to 29 May 2022.
This microlight rally consists of 4 discovery circuits (Alsace, Champagne-Ardenne, Haute-Marne and even neighbouring regions) with a departure and arrival each day at the same aerodrome or microlight strip in the Grand Est region.
The number of crews is limited to 4 groups of 15 aircraft. It takes place over 4 days, over the Ascension weekend. Each group flies one circuit per day. Each morning, departure from the central point to a strip that will offer breakfast, then a sightseeing flight, with lunch at another strip. In the afternoon, flights over tourist sites then return to the central base. In the evening all the crews get together to share dinner. Pilots can be grouped by aircraft type (fast aircraft, weight-shift, paramotors, etc.)
On each route, short or long circuits are planned.
We wanted costs to be calculated as fairly as possible. Organisation and assistance, meals and any taxes are included in the package. Crews therefore only have to pay for their fuel in addition to the package. The rate is €240 for the pilot and €160 for the passenger. We preferred this model because it can encourage pilots to take a passenger. This rate includes meals (lunch and dinner), breakfasts and access to facilities (camping, toilets, sanitary facilities...)

- A departure every morning towards 4 directions (in rotation), so groups are easier to manage.
- Safesky will be with us and will offer each crew the chance to install their app. This will let the leader see the list of their group on their app.
- A great opportunity to discover Alsace, Champagne, the Ardennes and Haute-Marne.
