Management software for clubs

Federation news27 December 20232 min read

Gabriel QUENU, a very committed volunteer, is offering innovative free management software designed specially for aero clubs, inspired by his work with the club GAPULM (Groupement Aveyronnais des Pilotes ULM). This club offers very affordable rates on new SuperGuépard microlights in 2024, and was Gabriel's main inspiration for creating this application.

This software, originally developed for this small Aveyron microlight club, offers an affordable and effective solution for managing flying activities. As for installing the software, a video "training" session could perhaps be offered to clubs, failing an in-person visit if clubs are far away.

Mr QUENU, the originator and current funder of the project, is considering an option for voluntary donations to support its development. This invites those who wish to contribute as they see fit to this exciting venture; the software is under constant development and available as a demo, but already available for clubs that want it. The demo interface lets you test the solution before taking it, but clubs can already have the version, which advances as development goes on.

Main features:
  • Booking management: lets members book slots for the microlights, with the option to customise booking limits.
  • Financial management: offers an economical solution that avoids raising costs for users.
  • Autonomy and customisation: the application is designed so administrators can manage the system themselves as they prefer, without constant outside help.
  • Easy installation: Gabriel undertakes to handle the initial installation, including setting up the SQL database.
  • Web domain: the software can be integrated into a custom subdomain, making it easy to link with clubs' existing websites.
Additional advantages:
  • No limits on schedule or storage.
  • Ability to create detailed statistics, such as booking hours per microlight and per member.
  • Based on MRBS, a royalty-free web application, adapted to the needs of an aero club.
  • This software is a promising alternative for clubs looking for a complete, flexible and economical management solution.
