The Grand Est Regional Committee and the Chambley club launched their first initial training course on Saturday 20 January. Proof of how much our members were looking forward to it, the places on offer were snapped up. Nathan Malo, an engineer and aircraft mechanic for both certified and non-certified aircraft, led the course. It was a very studious day, and the trainees left delighted with their day of training. Our satisfaction form showed us that the content of the training, the quality of the instructor, and the quality of the welcome and catering fully satisfied all the participants. Encouraged by this success, the Grand Est Regional Committee and the Chambley club have decided to offer a new date for the course. It will be on Saturday 02 March. With our members so keen, let's hope this course will be just as successful.

Proof of this success: on this initial course, pilots, students, instructors and even experienced mechanics rubbed shoulders.

The federation's aim of offering well-structured courses as close as possible to its members seems to meet our members' expectations perfectly.

On the same principle, we are considering offering introductory courses in timber assembly and fabric covering. These courses will serve as the basis for more advanced training now being developed.

A 2024 that promises to be a year of training.
