GAP 1

This exceptional event drew more than 60 000 spectators at Gap this weekend.

Under the patronage of the Hautes-Alpes Département, the AGATHA association, which brings together all the organisations using the aerodrome, put together an air-display line-up that showed every facet of aviation: parachutists, gliders, microlights, modern and vintage aeroplanes, helicopters, Rafale, Mirage and the unmissable Patrouille de France, which treated us to its colourful show against the magnificent backdrop of still-snowy peaks.

The FFPLUM was present, on the one hand, with the SUD Regional Committee stand, which welcomed many visitors throughout the weekend who were able to meet local pilots and find out about our activities, the microlight classes, the training courses and our passion for flying...

And on the other hand, with the active presence on the field of the team from the PNVM (Pôle National Vol Montagne, the national mountain flying division) of the FFPLUM, which took charge of parking and the ground movements of the display aircraft under the coordination of the flight direction.

More than ever, by organising this event, Gap Tallard aerodrome has lived up to its place as the 1st European centre for air leisure activities... The Youth Microlight Tour (Tour ULM Jeunes) will accordingly stop at Gap on 18 July 2024 for one leg.
