First federal press briefing 2025

FFPLUM is recruiting

As part of our federation’s new term of office, we reaffirm our commitment to transparency and dialogue with all stakeholders in the microlight movement. It was in this spirit that a first press briefing was held this morning at FFPLUM headquarters in Maisons-Alfort.

The main specialist media were invited: Aviation et Pilote, Aerobuzz, AeroVFR, ULMag and La Gazette de l’ULM. The meeting allowed a free exchange with journalists in a setting open to all questions, in order to address the major issues of the sector with key contacts.

One of the major points discussed was the order of 17 February, which has prompted many questions. In response to the concerns expressed, the federation wanted to clarify certain points, notably those on paid flights, and to give precise, factual answers. We recalled the federation’s constructive approach, which has always favoured dialogue and mobilised its expertise to defend the “declaratory” DNA of the microlight movement.

The discussions were appreciated by the participants and helped dispel some misunderstandings. The conference ended with an enriching question-and-answer session.

This first meeting showed the importance of open and regular dialogue. True to our commitments, we will continue to organise these exchanges, to keep the microlight community as well informed as possible and defend its interests.
