Newsletter intro 27 December

Freshly elected, it was with enthusiasm and a firm determination to bring renewal that we took over the DGAC auditorium for the first General Assembly of our term. From the outset, we wanted to mark this momentum, right down to the layout of the stage and the running of the day. But this change was not only a matter of form: it reflected our wish to present you with a clear structure of our divisions, designed to promote the efficiency and coherence of our work.

Why this approach? Because we deeply believe in the complementarity and richness of exchanges between the committees. For us, breaking down silos means making our federation more agile, more effective and closer to you.

This General Assembly was also, for us, a real baptism of fire! We put all our energy into it, driven by the desire to do well and to give you a useful, lively and unifying occasion. Your very broad support in the morning votes was a strong signal: one of your trust. We sincerely thank you for it.

A day marked by exchange and innovation

The lunch break was not a mere pause, but a precious time for meetings and informal discussions. Reunions, inspiring conversations… these shared moments are the strength of our community. You were able in particular to talk with Gilbert Guicheney, director of the MALGH (DGAC), as well as with Hubert Aupetit, pilot and writer, author of our brand-new federal manual.

The afternoon followed in the same vein, with key talks on major subjects: the OPS order, the reform of IULM instructor training, as well as enriching exchanges with the DSAC and the BEA. We also had the pleasure of unveiling two major federal novelties:

  • Our brand-new theory manual: the 50 pre-release copies were snapped up within a few hours! Further print runs are already under way, and we will keep you informed as soon as they are available.
  • Our revamped federal shop, which, under the impetus of the new team, has taken on a youthful and feminine touch. Undergoing a complete transformation, it has been designed to support you better day to day, with a wider range of products and a renewed approach.

A committed momentum for the future

In summary, an intense and packed day, but above all one focused on you. We hope it met your expectations and laid the foundations for a term of office based on dialogue, transparency and collective action.

Thank you all for your trust. This is only the beginning, and we look forward to building what comes next with you!

Next event: the Regional Microlight Committees seminar on 5 and 6 April. This key moment for our federation will allow our regional committees, true on-the-ground relays, to share their expectations and enrich our common vision. Their role is essential: they link the federal line with the reality on the ground, ensuring concerted and effective action.

See you very soon!
