CRULM occ 2

On Saturday 9 March, the CRULM Occitanie AG took place in Montpellier, chaired by Bruno Rascalou. Around sixty participants came from the 13 or so departments of the region. The board members (Gérard Halluin, Pierre Chauvin, Michel Hirmke, Michel Marti) spoke respectively on mountain flying, 8.33 radios, masses, the role of the CSV, and more. One of the highlights was the exchange between members and Sébastien PERROT (President of FFPLUM) on federal policy.

Microlight flying today stands as a sporting and recreational aviation that is innovative, accessible and varied, thanks to an original and balanced regulatory system. At the heart of this policy are, above all, safety, training and instruction. Occitanie is opening its doors wide to young people and is developing, for example, partnerships with the education authorities to fully involve candidates for the Aeronautical Initiation Certificate (BIA). In this respect, you can find our dedicated federal film here:

CRULM occ 3All this complements the ongoing actions of CRULM Occitanie for pilots, whether mountain flying in our ranges, REVs, meetings between instructors, "pilot" days for exchange and training around safety, or more technical days.
