The French Microlight Federation was in Tunisia at the beginning of April, represented by Didier Eymin, its paramotor lead. He was able to meet the Secretary of State for Sport, Mr Ahmed GAALOUL, as well as the local authorities.

On the sidelines of this event (the Tunisian Paramotor Microlight Tour), a series of meetings took place with the FTSAAA. The federations will strengthen their ties. FFPLUM (the largest microlight federation in the world) will support Tunisia in creating a Tunisian paramotor pilot certificate through a memorandum of understanding, which will also lead to the training of instructors. To this end Didier Eymin (head of the #FFPLUM Paramotor committee) made a special trip. He met officials, notably Minister Ahmed GAALOUL, Tunisian Secretary of State for Sport, accompanied by Mohieddine Boubtane (FTSAAA representative in France). Collaboration on training the Tunisian national paramotor team ahead of the next world championships in 2020 was also discussed.
