Since 1 June 2020, the FFPLUM Youth Division has been offering you the chance to discover microlight flying, or a new microlight class, with the Youth Passport. If you are under 25, we will help you financially to make your first flight!

If you dream of learning to fly, now is the time to try your luck at getting a Youth Passport worth €150. With it you can take an introductory or trial flight in one or more classes.

Good to know: If you are already a student or licensed microlight pilot in an affiliated club, you can also use it to try another microlight class!

For this first year, each region will offer 5 Passports worth €150 (in the form of 3 vouchers of €50 that can be used separately).

Conditions for applying:

  • Be under 25 years old
  • Take out your licence (we give it to you!) if you are just starting
  • Hold an FFPLUM licence if you already fly
  • One application per young person per year

How to apply?

Once you have taken out your licence (or if you already have one, of course), go to your member area: https://licencie.ffplum.fr/ and click the Federal schemes > Youth Passports tab.

Here, you can make your application, explaining your motivations. You can then follow the status of your application (being processed, approved, refused), still in this area.

How to use your passport?

Application accepted? Congratulations! You will receive your €150 Youth Passport by post. You can use it in one or several instalments of €50 at the club or organisation of your choice. You can find the one closest to you on the FFPLUM federal website under Where to fly?

After the flight?

Do not forget to fill in the flight voucher attached to your Youth Passport and give it to your affiliated instructor or the head of your club. They will see to sending it to FFPLUM so they can be reimbursed.

If you wish, you can continue your training with an instructor to obtain a certificate in the class of your choice.

The FFPLUM Youth Division remains at your disposal if you have any questions!
