News of 10 November 2022. Last updated on 17 November 2022: some information may have changed. Latest safety news

The second ISAL (Light Aviation Safety Body) meeting of the year was held this Tuesday 8 November at the initiative of the MALGH (General Light Aviation and Helicopter Mission) at DGAC headquarters.

Didier Blachère, recently put in charge of flight safety at FFPLUM, presented the broad lines of the federal policy and the actions developed from 2023 onwards, taking into account current developments in our flying.

A true forum for consultation and for promoting flight safety, the ISAL went through the accident statistics with the collaboration of the aeronautical federations present on the day: FFA, FFVL, FFVP, FFPLUM, RSA, FFH, FFAé (…).

The presentations offered by participants covered the various safety issues and the means used by each of the bodies present: the DSNA services, the OSAC, the DSACs, the BEA, joined during this exceptional day by the Air Force, the Navy and the Army.

Flight safety also depends on these friendly exchanges and on the direct involvement of our authority. We thank them for their initiatives.

Didier Blachère
