Principle

The purpose of this ranking is to draw up a list of French competitors based on the results achieved in the various French competitions.

Who can be ranked?

French competitors of all levels holding an FFPLUM sport licence.

Ranking system

Points are awarded to each competitor based on the results of their 2 best regional competitions and their ranking in the French championship.

Every French competitor taking part in at least one competition is included in the national ranking.

A coefficient of 1 for regional competitions and 4 for the French championship will be applied.

The scoring of the regional competition and of the French championship are independent, but they allow pilots to be ranked.

They will be awarded national points on the following scale:

Award of points after the regional result

  • Pts for first: 10 * number ranked, limited to 200 pts
  • Pts for last: 10 pts

Linear distribution between first and last

Application

If the number ranked is greater than or equal to 20: Pts for first = 200

If the number ranked is fewer than 20: Pts for first = 10 * number ranked

In all cases: Pts for last = 10

Calculation formula:

Pilot's points = Pts first * (No. ranked – Position) + 10*(Position -1)/No. ranked -1

See the points application table in detail at the bottom of the page* in the Application of points section

Pilots and classes

Regarding the different classes (e.g. French Championship): the all-class ranking is produced as follows: the French Championship ranking is used, including all classes and counting only the rounds common to all classes. This way the national ranking reflects the pilot's result whatever the class.

Frequency

Updated after each new competition and valid until 31 December.
