OFFICIAL RESULTS OF THE 2022 FRENCH CHAMPIONSHIP

End of the competition today! The week was packed with events, and despite the scorching heat our competitors turned in some very fine performances during this championship week. On the paramotor side, Marie Matéos won the elite foot-launch title. This is the first time a woman has become French Champion, congratulations to her! Women are very much present on the paramotor podiums: in the espoir (rising talent) foot-launch class, Sévérine Deutsch and Morgane Planton took 2nd and 3rd place respectively. In two-seat trike launch, Armelle Segond, Oriane Breuzard and Sandra Moreels are on the podium.

On the microlight side, the week's outstanding performance also goes to a woman, Lison Rebouillat, who finished 3rd in the overall scratch ranking with her single-seat weight-shift. It is also worth noting that many microlights flew in from all over France to take part in this French Championship: Fréjus, Chambéry, Blois and Ste Thorette, among others.

Below you will find the ranking of the last microlight event and the official overall rankings in all categories. Congratulations to all!

Thursday 14 July

Two events today for our microlight pilots, still under the heat of the south-west. They competed in an economy event and a precision landing. Our paramotor pilots, for their part, flew 3 events: 2 photo navigations going to the Nauxion microlight strip (LF3266) and back to Auch, then a pure economy event in which the pilots set off with 2 litres of fuel in the tank.

It is still very hot in Auch for all our competitors. Today was packed with events for the microlights and paramotors, with no fewer than 3 events over the day: for the microlights, a regulation photo navigation with a stop at Lectoure microlight strip, at Peyo's, to share breakfast; a hidden-gates photo navigation for the return to Auch, and finally a precision landing to end the day. On the paramotor side, also 3 events for all categories: a max-beacons navigation, a precision landing and an economy round

The heat is building, with temperatures well above 40°C. In view of this, the microlights flew only one event this morning, a photo navigation. As for the paramotors, the traditional “cut” for the PF1 class was made after yesterday's events. The top 8 are in the elite pool, and the rest are in the espoir pool. Like the microlights, the paramotors flew only one event today, a precision navigation.
