Reaffirming the fundamentals

The federation's Board of Directors met in person (and partly by videoconference for some members) this weekend (26 and 27 September 2020) at the CNOSF to review all aspects of federal policy: sport, grants, safety, regulation, training, young people, the Mondial de l'ULM, finance, insurance…
During lockdown, meetings were held very regularly at a distance, and weekly for the executive board. In-person meetings, however, allow us to work in better conditions.
The elected members of the Board of Directors reaffirmed by a vote, unanimously minus one abstention, their support for the entire policy pursued over the past three years, the results of which are visible.
Social media encourages caricatured approximations by some (often the same people) that mask the legitimate questions of members. Lockdown accentuates this tendency. It is sometimes necessary to recall the simple rules by which a federation works: elected representatives, a programme and a mandate, which should be judged on results, with respect and loyalty. Whatever some like to say, these policies are favourable, although they can always be improved.
All the elected members, employees, support staff and advisers are there to answer your questions (organisation chart available here).
