Microlight theory exam: ExamULM has to wait
News item of 5 August 2021. Last updated on 7 September 2021: some information may have changed. Latest news

As the project to delegate the common microlight theory exam nears implementation, the DSAC is facing technical difficulties that affect our timetable.
According to the DSAC, implementation of the new exam, announced for 1st August 2021, is postponed to a later date (second half of 2021) with the same provisions. This date has yet to be set, as stated in the DSAC announcement. You will find this announcement of 29 July 2021 in the link below.

The FFPLUM must wait for the new exam to be implemented before it can organise it. Nevertheless, through coordinated DSAC-FFPLUM work, we have made sure that theory exam candidates can continue to register under the arrangements already in force in the DGAC exam centres.
To date the FFPLUM working group dedicated to this project has finalised the procedures and management methods for organising the exam. Taking these latest timetable changes into account, we are therefore continuing preparations to organise the theory exam. The FFPLUM and the DSAC share information on this subject continuously. The DSAC’s next announcement should give us the date for implementing the new exam.
The ExamULM team will be at the Federation’s stand at the Mondial de l’ULM in Blois.
