Mutuelle des Sportifs: call for candidates 2023
The General Assemblies of the Mutuelle des Sportifs are held at least once a year and bring together all the delegates elected or appointed each year to represent the participating and honorary members of the Mutuelle within the voting sections to which they belong; these delegates deliberate on the items on the agenda.
Under articles 10 to 20 of the statutes, the Board of Directors has set the General Assembly closing the 24th financial year of the Mutuelle des Sportifs for:

Accordingly, participating members under group schemes taken out by sports, cultural, tourism, social or leisure associations or federations that are not members of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee elect their full and substitute delegates to the General Assemblies of the Mutuelle des Sportifs within the voting section “group participating members: associations and federations that are not members of the CNOSF”. At this General Assembly, the members of the Board of Directors are to be elected, as the current terms are expiring.
Any participating member whose subscriptions are up to date and who benefits from the M.D.S. cover under the terms of the agreement may put themselves forward as a candidate for the Board of Directors. Board members are elected by secret ballot by the General Assembly for a term of four years (article 23 of the statutes).
This election, organised by the Mutuelle des Sportifs, is held by post, by a single-round majority vote, according to the arrangements and electoral timetable set out in the electoral rules drawn up each year by the Mutuelle’s Board of Directors.
How to apply
Applications must be sent by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt to the President of the M.D.S. (2/4 Rue Louis David – 75782 Paris cedex 16) and received at the Mutuelle’s head office by 5 May 2023 at the latest.

BEING A DELEGATE TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLIES OF THE MUTUELLE DES SPORTIFS MEANS:
- being sure of taking an active part in running the Mutuelle, by being summoned to each General Assembly in order to take part in its deliberations;
- committing, for quorum reasons, to attend the General Assemblies of the Mutuelle:
- either by taking part in person (if the full delegate’s seat falls vacant during the term through death, resignation or lasting incapacity, they are replaced by their substitute delegate),
- or by giving a proxy to another delegate who is present (the number of proxies held by any one delegate is limited to 3).

Election 2023 – Think about gender balance
This year, the election of the M.D.S. directors gives it the opportunity to rely on the provisions of article L114-16-1 of the Mutuality Code in order to seek a balanced representation of women and men on its Board of Directors.
Under the regulations, and provided there are enough candidates, this balance must be guaranteed by reserving on the Board of Directors a minimum share of seats for people of each sex of at least 40%.
